We conducted a national UK survey of Fracture Liaison Services to understand the nature of direct contact with patients. To support this, we examined the use and content of pro formas to guide information eliciting and sharing in Fracture Liaison Service consultations. Using the findings of this study, and the UK Royal Osteoporosis Society Clinical Standards, we developed a new pro forma.
